Hi There,

The grade ally is M82 which is a heat treated 6082 T651. Very high quality plate.
The company I work for make parts for aerospace and F1 and the machine shop I send stuff out to does most of our work. These parts are made by a very experienced machinist on some very good equipment and were originally designed using a 3D scanner to profile a block face and then imported into a 3D CAD package for modelling and completion.

Thank you
Lee

Thats a lovely looking bit of kit. For the application, M82 grade is more than adequate.

Indeed, a very nice bit of work.

Good material choice and sensible price.

I hope people buy these.

Thanks again guys for the good words.

Collars and Adapters at this stage would be made to order and take around 7-10 days to get shipped. My work stuff has to be priority of course as these are very much done on the side for me hence the good price! I would say that was still a pretty reasonable lead-time.

Regards
Lee

Just to let you all know I have one last crank collar made and in stock. After this price will have to go up as new material will need buying in.. Unless I get lucky again anyway.

Collar will be £60 delivered in the UK with fitting drawings for crank machining. To confirm the collar is intended as an inteference fit and comes with secondary retaining screws to make double sure it will not move.

Cheers
Lee

Hi There, These are available to order.. That said I do not think I can supply any more crank collars only sump adapters and there will be around a 3week lead-time. It is nearing the start of the F1 season so the machinist is flat out making parts and tooling. If you are still seriously interested I will have a word and see what he can do.

Hi Guy's just a reminders I can get these parts made to order if anyone is doing a build. I currently have a Crank collar in stock as some more material came in for a job so I took the liberty of getting a couple done!

Cheers
