I like the idea of a group event.

Would be great to put faces to some names.

Thanks for your responses, list updated as follows:

1. njd (1 to 1 Route to Circuit)
2. Zed Ed (Group - PDTD)
3. guy cuthbert (1 to 1 Orientation Day)
4. peterpeter
5. ramsub
6. SurreyUMSGTR (1 to 1 and Group - PDTD)
7. paul__k
8. madadd
9. Aerodramatics (Group - PDTD)
10. charles charlie (Group - PDTD)
11. kpkpkp (Group - PDTD)
12. CCGT (Group - PDTD)

The main difference between the 1 to 1 days and group will be the amount of time you spend behind the wheel and therefore your learning.

The group format as your fellow GTROC Members will testify is a way for up to 8 members to share the day together comparing notes on their experiences throughout the day. A total of 1.5 hours driving time behind the wheel of your R35 as well the End of Day Gymkhana in our Caterham 7. This is where you put everything you've learnt during the day into the one exercise to win the Champagne and the chance to get on our leaderboard. The alternative is that it all goes out the window and the red mist comes down

The 1 to 1 days are full days with just you and your instructor with a combination of road driving and a session within Millbrook or focussed solely at Millbrook.

As to dates, the earliest we can organise a group event is August/September. I'll check with Millbrook and give you a few options to consider.

If it is the 1 to 1 option you prefer then all you need to do is either drop me a PM or give me a call (01234 757633) as this is organised to your convenience, diary permitting.

Jo

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

I've checked dates with our diary and Millbrook's and focusing on weekend options only, we are looking at September as August is already taken.

Options to consider are Sunday 6th or Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th.

If your diaries are all good for that month, then I would suggest Saturday 12th September for the group Performance Driver 'Track' Day format.

Please confirm if this is your favoured date and then we can move to the payment stage

The 12th is good for me for the group event, I would also like to arrange a 1 to 1 session sometime in June or July if possible?

yep, it,s been a while since last involved in group session on a track so more about being safe whilst driving on limit

last time I tracked my own car was when I had my vx220, so totally different drive to the GTR.

As I've got older and focused on work I only get the occasional Palmer sport or karting experiences to get my thrills
