Hi Jo
If I understand correctly the 1 to 1 's can be booked any time that you are running them, so I just need to check the availability direct with you? If possible it would be good to do the 1 to 1 at the same time as other GTROC members just to meet some other members ( a sort of group 1 to 1 if this makes sense!). Is it possible to see if there is enough demand for this or is this too complicated? Thanks Neil

I resent that comment. I am 3/4 mile inside the border and up until 2 years ago have previously lived in St.Helens all my life
![]() Just picked the car up from Middlehursts after its 1000 mile service and we are driving over to Gateshead to watch Saints in the cup tomorrow. The missus reckons 3 hours - I don't think so once I have it in RRR mode all the way! Neil

For the group event, this is why the numbers are capped at 8. On a one to one full day basis, it would only be possible for 2 of you to train 'together'. But you will barely be together. Following the Driver Orientation Course, you might meet in the car park, you could possibly share lunch together and then you might have your debrief at the same time - but this is all dependent on you both working to the same time scale, having the same objectives and driving the same routes. With the 1 to 1's it is based on your needs - so if you want an 07:30 start then that is when we meet you - but likewise if 10am suits you better. I hope this gives you a better understanding of how it could work. Jo

I've been away on holiday, so sorry for the delayed response; I'm probably interested in both - the Group session would be good to meet a few other owners, and the Orientation Day come September/October once the car is fully run in... I'll drop you a line once I have the car (a few weeks now?) and let you know...

I would like to do the group programme, Day 1 and 2. Sept 12th for day 1 seems to be the go so put me down for that. I have no track experience apart from one ferrari corporate driving day and the GTR test drive at the ring. Is that OK? thanks

Hi Jo
I think I will stick with the 1 to 1 with Colin or Nick - I assume that I just contact you directly to fix up a suitable date? Thanks Neil

I had the first CATDT R35 course with Colin on Sunday 31st May at Millbrook. Wow, what a great day. Learnt so much about my car (JDM Premium Edition Dark Metal Grey) and how to drive it better. More importantly, how not to drive it!! An absolute must for R35 drivers.
Totally professional approach from the outset by Jo, who explained the full itinerary and suggested an extra hour at Millbrook - great suggestion Jo, thanks. Colin is a great trainer and a top guy to spend the day with. Very professional with a friendly and confidence-building style. His technical knowledge and test driving experience made the briefings and guided sessions on the highway and track educational and enjoyable. I was able to see real progress in my confidence and technique throughout the day. Millbrook is an amazing place. Only a few cars were around on Sunday (three Lotus Evoras and an AM V12 among them!!). Straight mile for braking technique, 2 mile bowl for high speed driving and manoeuvres, grip limits tested (all modes, including VDC OFF!) on the steering pad, then on to the handling/cornering track and the alpine route. Awesome Only disappointment was that it had to end. I gained a great deal from the experience and felt even more connected, confident and safe with my R35, prepared to build on efficient track skills with a good foundation, but also more settled on the road after Colin’s positive coaching in the morning on highway driving skills. I would recommend Colin and Jo at CATDT to anyone like me who wants to get the best out of driving their R35. CW [repeat from other CATDT thread]
