alot have finally been caught out, and shown for the money grabbing, crooked, spineless scum, they really are. too listen too them on the tv and radio, trying too squirm out of some great questions, about their affairs, and expenses claims, whilst claiming, they were not aware they'd done anything wrong.

nice too see, some, taking a big fall, for their dodgy actions at last, enjoy your downward spiral, although, i'm sure, they'll all, squirm back in sooner or later.

look forward too them all knocking on my door, for my vote, i've got a few points i want too take up with them.
It's all good though. Get caught stealing tax and you get awarded £105,000 (£65k resettlement + £40k winding down) from the taxpayer. Would have been cheaper to allow them to continue thieving.

FFS! Get fired, get £65,000. I'm nearly sure you only get something like £30,000 for wrongful dismissal.

This however makes me even more sick. Warning: You're actually going to need the tin-foil hats this time.

I'm now quite sure that we're all just being played for ******s.
yep, just saw this on the news and was going to post it up. it seems it doesnt matter which way it goes for ruined mp's they still manage to get a payout, this time in the form of a golden goodbye after being forced to step down for conducting what is basically fraudulent expense claims.
TOTAL JOKE. most people would end up facing criminal prosecution for less.

and i dont for one minute believe that someone could claim over £15000 for a mortgage that was already paid off by mistake. just shows them as the plain liars they really are.

I think most people would jump at the chance of being fired for that kind of payout. Commit some fraud, get £100k. Sounds like a good deal. Now, what do I owe in taxes for last year? Let's see. Applying House of Commons regs..... Ah yes, nothing. Now can I have my £100k?

I heard on the radio couple of days a go a women lied about where she lived so she could get her child in to the school of her choice ,she's now going to court over this with the outcome if found guilty which means a year in jail or a fine up to £5 grand .Makes me sick when all these scum bag MP's are commiting fraud and the worst they are going to get is the option of paying it back ,Bastards!!

How the Hell can someone claim for a mortgage they dont have and say it was an oversight or a mistake ,are they trying to be freaking funny .It's just not right ,shoot em in the face

That's the problem. People up top should be getting kicked to death on the streets, not bleeting at news journalists.

The thing that has been bothering me for several days now is that there is not a single M.P. in the whole of government who has ever complained about this.
If I had stood for election and won a seat, the day I found out I could put absolutely anything on expenses and get away with it, I would have flipped my fingers at the house, resigned and then sold my story to the media and earned my extra money the honest way.
You hear about African officials milking the system for all its worth and assume that that sort of thing would never happen here & that if it did, someone would spill the beans and kick up a fuss.
I suddenly feel more naive than I did when I was 10.

I have never voted. for years i have endured all manor of c***s looking down on me and saying "You can't complain if you don't vote" and my reply to that has always been, "They are all as bad as each other".

i actually find it quite funny that 8 years on, this is the exact principle which stopped me from voting. i didn't need this to happen to know its all corrupt and always has been. At least my vote has not been used to allow this to happen.

All the labour suppporters running around like blue ased flies, voting for conservative next time round because they've become as wretched as conservative were in the 80's. What next, a few more years of cameron then Millibands turn? (Polish/belgian intellectual, yeah he'll do a great job of representing Britain I'm sure) Do you think you're doing the country any favours or just allowing the same old crap to continue? This country needs real people to run it.

Sadly most people are like sheep, they don't know what to do other than continue the rotten system which digs this country into a deeper hole everyday.

My conscious is clear, the best I can do is bitch about it on the net.
This is not a game you can win, it should not be encoraged. Major changes are needed.

if you're twiddling your thumbs thinking labour/conservative then its actually people like you who are breaking the country by allowing the same shit to happen.

In the meantime you give more power to the press v(becaue you rely on them to tell you what is going on in the world), who are another seperate, scummy, broken entity. And then you all scratch your heads and wonder why the country has gone down the pan and the papers are a bunch vulchers.

I think its fair to say people in authority abuse the system wherever they may be as the higher up the ladder you are the harder it is to get caught and easier to get away with, mp's, councillors, judges, police, solicitors, teachers, child care etc but they all get caught in the end, my dad went to his forieghner dr the other month, while there the dr said can i prescribe you some tablets my family back home need and are to expensive there and il meet you later when you have them! my dad didnt report him unlike i who would of in a instant but not long after he was struck off, thing is he did it to loads of patients so i would say it was for finantial gain but then had the balls to apply for reinstatement again, makes me sick.

Probably really old now but when this story broke, i thought this the funniest exchange on Question time for a long time!
'So do you have a second home?'
'Yes, I Do' (Some MP)
'And how far from parliament is your constituency and your own home?'
'37 miles'
Huge chorus of jeer`s, boo`s and laughing.
`Yes, but what you people don`t understand is that at parliament you have to be there at exact times `(The MP)
`You mean, like a job?`
Met with huge laughter and uproar from the audience from which the MP never recovered and basically sat silent for the rest of the show unless prompted directly to speak.
