Music box problem..

Hi guys! Have copied about 10 cd's so far, most copied quickly and listed all song titles etc, but 2 of the discs copied ok but had no song listings or text of any kind just recording dates and track number! All were original cd's not copys! Rather annoying and don't see why some are ok and others are not

Are they old? The oldies don't have index info I believe which is what is needed.

Someone in the know will confirm ...or shoot me down in flames!

The cd's that didn't add any text were only a few weeks old! Atleast it coppied them! Will have to just get used to what order the tracks are in :-)

If they are only a few weeks old, it means they are not in the Gracenote database of your MusicBox.

It can be updated using a PC application, but the snag is that it needs the CF reader which has been removed from EU cars !!!

that's a bit crap! So no cd's I buy in the future will add the correct text? Is there any way to add the title and track names on the system my self? There is a text button on the screen when playing a cd!

Other easy option is import CD into iTunes then burn back to a cdr. All the relevant data will be on your new cd.
