But I reckon with the G25 Pt 2 the shifter will get force feedback. I MIGHT just upgrade to a FREX wheel, pedals, shifter & handbrake by that time though.

One time investment for the best of the very best *(FREX GP International)
That is AMAZING, - Canopy Screen = ! Although, I don't think I am enough of a die-hard worthy enough gamer to use such a thing. Definately worth if for the Bragging rights alone.

Isnt the logitech g25 a PC steering wheel ? Wasnt aware that it can be used on the PS3 aswell, however I know you can use the DFP wheel, Driving Force Pro on a PC, which back in its days was meant to be for the PS2. It's also a good wheel, has 900° degrees steering angle aswell, but not clutch pedal and is smaller than the G25, I don't think it's on sale anymore these days but I picked one up for 50 pounds if I recall correctly.. which is considerably cheaper than a G25.

Yep, you can use it on PS3 too (as in fact, you should be able to with any USB steering wheel, although the G25 is definitely one of the better supported wheels).

Oh right it's been a while since I used consoles wasnt aware of the fact that PC wheels can be used with them and vice versa, also 108 quid aint so bad, have to admit last I checked it was way more expensive but that was some time ago, I guess the prices have dropped, I wonder if logitech has a new wheel in the works since the g25 as good as it may be is a few years old now.
wait now that I see it,
There is a better one coming? A totally new wheel or an improvement of the G25?

to be honest not sure if its a totally new wheel or an improved one

but thinking about it the price on these wheels was like £200 when they first came out

the price has now reached less than £100 at some places so these wheels will probably go a fair bit more cheaper i think in the near future

G25 should drop a bit more once the G27 is out. I'll stick to my G25 for some time though.

agent-x - you missed the play.com offer I posted?

Basically, any USB wheels SHOULD work on a PS3, but whether they're officially supported or not by the game you're playing is a different matter. You can't do this on 360 though as they keep their wheel support pretty closely guarded, so it's just official MS products on there.

And yeah, the G27 is on the way, although you really can't go wrong with the G25.

G27 got released.

- Rev leds on the wheel which start blinking when you over rev.

- Slightly more solid feel to the gear leaver. Accomplished by removing the switch to semi auto (up-down) though.

- Extra buttons on the wheel.

B.I.G. version of pic..
