Petrol prices again

£1.10/L Super Unleaded. ****ing ridiculous. There's a recession on and demand isn't even that high.

Demand in China and India is your problem, it's a globally driven price.

That's not actually the problem at all. Demand is still extremely low and the pound has strengthened against the dollar. The problems are:

1. OPEC Cartel

2. Oil Company Cartel

3. Duty (which is the biggest part of the price per Litre)

The prices have been creeping up for a while, it infuriates me that we can do very little about it.

Should be a policy to cap them at £1/L.

Yep, its a joke, the local is offering normal petrol at 104.9 and diesel at 101.9

I know that a few pence added on increases your fuel bill by a few quid but at the rate I go through the stuff it adds up!

Here in Japan we are paying around 120 yen a litre, which if you calculate at 160 yen to the pound, gives you 3/4 of a pound, ie 75p.

It's creeping up, but even so the UK seems to be a little cheeky.
