Joe; I've been a bit slow fitting my Zele light kit........ and it's still not done

Question for Charles Charlie; you said you were running Stage 2. Is your exhaust mod limited to the Milltek Y-pipe still?

Also can anyone shed some light on the different exhaust lingo e.g. cat back etc.

You never know, even some of the modding luddites ( like me) might get an Accessport

I just run a mid pipe / y-pipe from Willall racing in Oz.

As for the exhaust lingo...

-Downpipe starts from engine and has cats on.
-Y-Pipe, Mid Pipe are all terms for the same thing and mean middle section, OEM has cats+silencer
-Cat-back is the rear section from the Mid Pipe back.

Hope that helps

Joe has released new Beta firmware for the Accessport which greatly improves JDM and EDM datalogging.

Can it be spotted by the HPC's, if you have used a COBB....

Or do you just but back to standard, when it goes back into HPC's......

That helps, but the understanding is that the vehicle status data recorder still knows a flash event has occurred over the CAN bus, and boost/airflow readings are recorded. Cobb is not being marketed as undetectable.

Casual inspection at routine servicing is unlikely to reveal anything though. Some dealers are now selling Cobb and exhausts too.

Quick question....

If you buy one and sell your GT-R 6 months down the line.....

Can the AP, go back and be reloaded, like the old Superchip Bluefin.....

So you could sell your AP, on to someone else with a GT-R, or is it only for one car only...

Cheers...

yes you can uninstall and sell & use on another 35. But can't be used on more than one 35 at the same time !

Exhaust didnt change.

Still sounds fab with the y-pipe.

IMHO, an Accessport and a y-pipe are all you'll ever need. Easily adds power, brutality, sound, and usability to an already incredible car.

I'm running a full Milltek system, with Cobb stage 2.

Although, adding 50 or so bhp to 500 bhp will not stand out like a sore thunb, I agree it helps the cars mid-range and top end pull.

We are also working on race cats, which should give better reving capabilites, but as yet haven't been able to put it on the rollers.

Might be worth while getting a meet together, of 5 or so cars with different specs to see what differance all the bits make.

just a thought.

R.
