Finally got around to installing my BC coilovers today and I must say I am quite impressed! I was expecting a much harsher ride than the factory suspension with the coilover spring rates rated at f8/r6, but I was pleasantly surprised, it feels very to similar to factory spec yet more composed around corners. Although its hard to explain the car also seems a little more efficient, in terms of cruising, and acceleration seems to have picked up a little too.
At the end of my road is a terrible 200 metre strip where the bitumen has cracks, holes and long rails of missing bitumen. The factory suspension would feel like it was tramlining, jumping all over the road and the steering wheel was very jerky and unsettled through this patch of road. With the BC's it basically just hovers over the bad areas, with none of the previous issues. Not the most in depth review but so far a big thumbs up for BC's Heres what shes looks like at ride height of 345 all round.... ![]()

So they went straight on, no probs then? All parts needed etc?
I have been looking at these for a while, and for the price I reckon they should be a good deal!

Yep straight on, the only small issue was when adjusting the front to my required height, the brake line arm could not be correctly reattached, so I just zipp tied it the coilover body - easy fix.
I was expecting issues that usually come with parts sourced from those cheap manufacturing Asian countries, but they were a great fit and simple install.

Very nice, l would love a set of these, in my opinion the standard suspension is the only bad point with the stagea, all the body roll makes me car sick, fitting these would make a great how to. Can l ask who supplied these?

After everything thats been spouted about stagea specific spring rates at the back i am surprised that Apexs standard 8/6 spring rates seem to be working really well

Looking good Shane. I did the same with the brake line and the zip tie. I also had to reverse a lower bolt at the rear since I was fouling a nut with the larger OD. It cleared the head of the bolt no problems when turned around. I also see you've successfully removed your rails

Talk to Bren on here, he'll sort you out. Or just give them a call and tell them what you want.

I've installed some rear camber arms and adjusted by sight, and will throw in the adjustable castor rods when I can the Stag back from the LPG conversion, can anyone tell me what the going rate would be for a 4 wheel laser alignment?
Cheers

You Austrayan Shane?
Let me know where you end up going. I tried my local Hi-Q and they don't have the Stagea on record nor will they do camber adjustment. Seems little point in going back with the settings if they won't touch camber.
