I would expect our senior GTROC representatives to ask Nissan GB directly what these issues are and whether a UK recall is in the pipeline.....

My car is getting a new engine and so will at least 4 of my customers cars. Reason as have been stated before.

I´m glad Nissan is FINALLY acting on this issue and I hope I get it replaced fast since there´s a lot of stuff waiting to go on the car.

/P

Whilst I am sure everyone is concerend about this I can confirm there is only a handful of cars affected and for some countries in Europe only. That Nissan have taken time to respond is down to them not only wanting to find a soluton but also identify all cars and owners and put into place a speedy and effective resolution. Whilst some response from Nissan would perhaps have been the desired way forward that's not happened. However I can confirm that a response is due very soon and it will be thorough, detailed and have a plan to correct all those cars affected. Logisitically this will be a big job for Nissan as you will see when it is announced.

Please remember only a very small number of cars are affected and the majority of countries across Europe are not affected at all.

As soon as I know more or as soon as Guy is in a position to share what information is forthcoming we will of course let you know

As ever Fuggles, a well delivered response.

Being an owner of a GTR with a VIN under 600 I am eager to hear what Nissan GB has to say on this and I am very glad we have folks such as yourself and Guy who are able to provide info which Nissan are slow to release.

Thanks
