Another thread I've missed until now 'cos I was away.

Looking good Jamie.

Weight figures are interesting. I want to start stripping stuff out of mine in the next few weeks/months.

Hello my man,

Yea i was quite surprised on how much stuff weighs. The rear seats being the most. I still cant believe how much stuff is left in the back. Loads of stuff that could be removed. I even noticed a rise in ride height too. The back went up about 4 mm

The car will be fully stripped out and ready for totb if i get in Going to set the car up for the handling track as there are loads of top gtr's already in for the high speed and 1/4 events.

Will be trying to head to Brands soon if your up for a laugh mate?

Hello mate. Yea I'm going to removed all the sound deadening and then put all the carpets and seat's back in when its being used as a car again There is alot of it in there if you inlcude all the soft stuff around the iring looms and in the read 1/4's.

I heard the best method was freeze spray? Meant to be cleaner and quicker.

Yeah your right, i think a few people on here has used freeze spray does seem to be the best way to remove it not like when i removed mine, hammer and sharp chisel took ages lol.

Have you remove the large lump of steel behind the rear bumper which slots into the rear chassis leg and also the front crash bar? plenty of weight there.

Neil

Not sure about removing the bumper irons as it's still a road car and will need to make something for the number plates lights to mount too. I knw they weigh a fiat bit though lol.

Neil what did you get your r32 down too in weight?

Where the hell do they sell freeze spray? Plumbing shops? Might do it today

I am going to head to the pod next Sunday. Get a few little things ready and then go hell for leather.
