Thanks Conrad.

Thanks Simon aswell.

With regards to your question, yes and yes.

8 pot water cooled Brembos
And Penske race suspension, which are very lightweight compared to the likes of Tein coilovers.

I will be down with my engine builder for a chat early next week,so I might take the camera along with me and take a few more photos.

Thanks to all for the interest in this project.

This is very cool mate, certainly one of a kind. Just a question, why did you decide to got for such a big turbo while still been 2600cc? Its going to be fairly laggy down low a brutal when it comes on boost which could make fast laps round a circit difficult. Just wondering what the reasoning behind your decision is.

Cheers

Now this is going to be something else

Great to see something so so different & it will be a beast i'm sure
The handling will be "interesting" when on boost !

Thanks to all for the comments and interest.

It got the T51 SPL new at a very competiitive price,so I said balls to it and bought it.

My engine builder has CNC machined a special uprated cylinder head along with uprated cams and usual stuff and there is a very well built bottom end going in,custom made billet crank, forged rods, pistons etc etc. Also managed to get an ATI damper in from the states for dirt cheap.

I also have a prototype GT 35/82R turbo aswell which has been proven recently to work wery well.

Its going 4WD,but like with all GTR,s selectable RWD too,if its needed.Best of both worlds.

The handling, should hopefully be fairly precise, but with like any one off project its still an unknown,so I wont comment anymore on that till I get to see and feel what its like in the flesh.

Its gonna be fun finding out though, thats for sure.

When that SPL turbo kicks in,Im pretty sure that it will get very interesting in a very very short space of time.So I will probably have a roll of toilet paper beside me...............just incase.

Ive been doing this project for a while now,and couldnt resist keeping it quiet anymore,so here it is and now you all know about it.
I have a few people to thank for making this project happen, from an inital joke over a cuppa tea to actually becoming a reality.1 or 2 of you here allready know who these people are.

I will mention them and thank them in full when this little alfa banger of mine is up and running.

P.S-T04Z GTR......Got your email and I will give you a shout later on this evening or else tomorrow.

Have a bit of the flu at the moment,so can barely talk at the moment (my missus loves it,as I cant answer her back as Ive no voice)

Thankyou very much.

Truth is that I am in awe of your projects and the pure insanity of both of them, but especially GTST,which is just nutts.

Thanks to Robbie and all the staff at Trackday Performance and thanks to John and all his staff at John Stone Racing for building this Alfa-GTR project.

I,ve become fairly handy now with the sabre saw and also the plazma torch, maybe a tad too eager with it at times though.

But sure,if you dont have a go,you will never know.

Oh that's unique alright...It's like fitting a jet engine onto a bicycle Amazing built mate keep it going it'll be a bloody bullet when it's done. As for your race driver friend i wouldn't be too confident on letting him test drive it... Try a jet fighter pilot maybe???
