Recommended online ICE suppliers anyone?

I've just had a bad experience with iceclearout.com (order didn't turn up, then sent wrong thing, rubbish customer service and being downright rude), so I need to go elsewhere now. But where to go?

So I thought it might be useful to start a thread where people can recommend suppliers that have proved reliable and helpful (and preferably cheap too!).

So, any recommendations?

Dave

Hi Dave
My friend owns Class A Audio and Security Class "A"
Depending on what you require he could source it for you.
He has sorted things out for other members from Alarms to ICE
Just a thought if he can help you,
Best regards Alan

ECLIPSE AUDIO

The owner Tony is a good friend of mine & has done all the work in both my Skylines as well as general electrical work & stripping all the cr*p out of both cars too on the wiring side. Both FUGGLES & ROBBIE J have met him too as he looked at Robbies R35 in the past.

The website is still being developed be warned as its new but this guy was winning trophies for installs around Europe when most people were happy just to accept factory units with a cassette player! He also travels as well.

Never had a problem with these and used them a couple of times: Car Audio Direct for car stereo, subwoofers, amplifiers, car speakers, CD players.

The plot thickens...

I'm still struggling to get my money back from Iceclearout.com. Turns out that they are the same company as Caraudiocentre.com (not to be confused with caraudiodirect.com) who also seem to have some links to InPhase equipment.

From what I've read, their MO seems to be that they offer great things on their website, then lo and behold they are out of stock, so they offer Chinese manufactured Juice or InPhase equipment instead. This is what happened to me.

And when you try to get your money back you get sent round the houses and they try to get you to call an 0906 number charged at 75p per minute - cheeky ****ers!

My advice would be to stay well clear, they are rubbish...

I'll go with one of the other companies suggested in the posts above I think!

Me too. They'll say the item you ordered is out of stock, send you something else instead and never give you a refund.
