I broke it...
...My BMW 330iSE hire car!!!
At 65 on the motorway the 'tiptronic' gearbox clunked and downshifted to 4th!! I managed to nurse it home and call BMW assist who assisted in telling me the gearbox had broken! BMW have given me a vecta 2.2 hire car in the meantime  Still to be honest it feels similarly built to the beamer which is double the price!

vectras are ok not same as 330 though mondial its ok just make sure they exyend the hire car you are in as if they dont u make be looking at charges so make sure you tell the dealer this and
if a part is on backorder you are entitled to a car as you may or may not now drop me pm if stuck as work in dlr network lee

Shouldn't be a problem as the 330i is being replaced by a new 330d this afternoon for me...
Still I'd almost rather stick with the vectra as the stereo is much better and I don't enjoy driving either!!!!
