thanks for all the support at the pod (to all who were there)..
i will post all my data from last 2 days and videos.. from the dyno to strip we have done over 1000 miles now got home very late last night.. was just great to drive the GTR on the strip for the first time since 2009. we only managed 5 runs in total in the day.. 3 of them were set ups , the last 2 we went for it but on run 4 we were low on fuel so aborted. (this one had better 60FT that would of seen 9.5) run 5 was my only run on full launch and also at 7krpm we managed 9.7@150. 4th fastest time of the day and i think i did the most miles almost 800 to try it out, even drove via heavy storms and had bit play on way home. now the JUN R1 has the launch nailed we can now rev to 7500 and raise to 2.2 bar of boost. and now try to lower the 60ft too.. from the data the car has an easy low 9s. great day but sadly i ran out of time rain etc and my first test run with GTRAAA has posted (no launch and just booted it from 3rd nailed 141 terminal) was at 12pm. met the SVM mechanics (top lads), also met hanton cracking fella and francis as usual top guy,. am not going to raise to other posts am seeing or speculation. i did only 1 run. will post all my pics vids and timeslips later, going out with my 3year old boy now (which is more important).

The launch was setup for only a 4000rpm launch at moment which compared to how hard I had the cars in the US and dubai launching is very tame but a transmission is not cheap and Jurgen drives to the track and back so I will always go slow with any car and analysis data before turning stuff up.
You need to remember that on the stock Ecu all the calibrating of the launch is pretty much done. I have to analysis and adjust torque values, clutch pressures, throttle openings pre and post launch, manifold pressure targets post and pre launch, fuel and ign cut severities and more based on lots of logged parameters like Long g, input shaft speed, clutch speeds, rpm, driven speed, ground speed, manifold pressure, egts, tps positions, clutch slip and again lots more to get launch perfect but will 100% allow to launch to be as good as the tyres, diff, transmission and chassis allow It took months to get Stuart Williams drag car up to full power and launch perfect which is now the fastest road legal jap car in the world doing 8.3 on pump fuel. Jurgens car will easily do a 1.45 60ft like I have done in the US which will straight away put it down to a 9.3 Look forward to more track time and allows us to turn it all up. Will get a screen shot to show how the Syvecs saved another engine when the fuel pressure dropped after it ran out of fuel! And also how much boost it was only running ![]() Great day though and thanks to all that helped Jurgen and myself Ryan

Nice job all. The OEM ECU needs quite a bit done too to get the launch right too: ignition, fuelling, VVT, throttle, boost and torque values and vehicle speed just for staging. Challenge is different to standalone, some is done for you, some needs to be redone, whereas you have to replicate the basics but should have the eventual advantage due to more control.

Just got back in the door myself only an hour ago. Going to have some wine and a sleep.
Posted my updates on the Medusa project site if you want to have a look see but very happy with our first shake down after 9 months. Great to see JUN1 in the flesh a very nice looking motor indeed. Great to meet with Jurgen and F-man and especially Ludders after such a long time. Lets all focus our minds and tuning capabilities to ensure that the Skyline and GTR35 heritage is not let down at TOTB
