Question Wind Deflectors

I have tried sourcing wind deflectors for a Stagea but I don't think it's possible to find any or even fit them because of the frameless door.

Anyone else been able to fit wind deflectors on their Stagea?

Here are some but not sure if they work well:

Think you miss understood me, the impression you gave was because the doors are frameless you wouldn't be able to fit them, but as I said they dont fit to the doors they fit on the section above the doors on the car body with small clips!

i love them, think they look well JDM!!! And supposidley stop water and wind coming in to the car.

block water too? that would definitely be a bonus for me as i've been hit in the face too many times by splashes coming in in the car wash. :/

I did misunderstand. sorry. I just cannot figure out how the door opens with the window up when they are installed on the car. Do you have to let the window down first then open the door? Otherwise there must be a sliver of space between the top of window and the wind deflector as the door opens.

I have wind deflectors fitted to my Stagea. A superb way of reducing an already crap MPG.

I wonder how many more mpg we would get if we removed them and maybe converted to a manual box too (don't think the latter would make as much difference as removing the deflectors tho, lol). My all time high is 22mpg with a tail wind......

eru - I love my wind deflectors and think they do look good on the car. Have got them on both Skyline and Stagea and yes! they do stop the wind and the rain quite a bit

I've got them on my Stagea but they make loads of noise with the window open a bit.
That'll teach me to smoke in the car!

So far all the stageas Ive had (which is quite a few) were all fitted with wind deflectors .

Re mpg manual gearbox makes a real difference .
If I drive mine around without the boost controller on (0.8 bar ) on I can get around 20 mpg if Im sensible

sounds from some of the posts that they don't improve wind deflection at all and so do not improve MPG.

They do improve wind deflection, and allow smokers to open the window in the rain and not get too wet.

As far as MPG goes, I wouldn't think it makes a noticable difference.

I cannot the my passat MPG as low as the best mpg from a Stagea, but we don't drive them for MPG, do we?
