sorry , never tested .
FFL-4 works great better than Factory Oil thatīs why we continue to use it without to try FFL-3 .

I ordered a 20L tube of FFL-4 couple of days ago. Nissan Bulgaria even said they would stamp my service book, with a note that specify the oil as not OEM.

Just went to orders some Pentosin FFL-4 from BMW and gave them the part number of B83.22.2.148.579 and the parts guy said it shows up as
Pentosin 11-S. he said they have never had to order this before and didn't know if it is the same as FFL-4 - anyone know if it is the same stuff before I order it.... ?

Part number is correct so maybe a typo at his end. B83.22.2.148.579

BTW - i'll be buying some more soon for my 24month service (bit of overkill as i've had it done at 12 months and 18 months with not too many miles, but it's cheap enough not to be that much of a bother!) if anyone in Glasgow is interested in 10litres.

Ahh, yes just called BMW again, the part num,ber does end 579 and they call it DCTF-1. However that part number is only for 1 litre, they couldn't find a 20L drum - he's gonna call me back so once I have all the details I will write a new post with all the correct part numbers and prices, etc.

Cool

There's a lovely lady at Sytner's called Anneka who is on E90post.com who you may want to contact. She sorted out the price for me and got my local BMW to supply.

I hear I can use FFL-4 in the diffs also, is that correct?

Nissan Bulgaria says the oil in the transmission and diffs is different, cost is also different.
