Thumbs up

Hi Chris.

Amazing job, incredible project! You are so meticulous! You give great attention to details!

Unlike other members of this forum, I will be one the few to see it in real when your superb project will be completed! Lucky me.

I can't wait that you ask me if I can come along for a test-drive! with you.

Keep up the great work.

Serge

Ugh I hate stripping the sound deadening material. I had to recently help a friend and it took forever. Keep up the good work!

I gradually did exactly that over a period of a couple years, but I can't for the life of me remember what I did, and of course I have no pics.

Last time my engine was out however, while the engine was on its stand, I went at it with large implements of destruction and ripped out a great many hard pipes.

this is amazing stuff, and probably the best pictorial of an R32 I've seen on this board, period.

Had I "done it right" like this the first time around, I'd have saved tens upon tens of thousands of dollars. Spent far too much time mucking around with cheaper parts until I eventually got the parts you're putting in.

Wonderful to see that you know what you're doing, and that you're not making the mistakes I (and some others) have made. You're going to have a solid car on the road once you're done, no question about that.
