I also have a fibreglass roof and the fibreglass rear bumper and tailights I cut out from the pix above if anyone wants them for **** all. Quote:
I'm keeping the stock floor and firewall and steel roof, all original chassis rails, no engine set back, stock x-members, stock IRS etc so it is a GTR just as much as any of the other top level drag GTRs out there. If I wanted engine setback and lots of super lightweight panels etc I'd have just done a tube car but then its not really a GTR. The front clip is actually much heavier than a stock bonnet, guards, bumper, headlights etc so super light is not right at the top of my list. Rob

Ok, so from there I wanted to address an issue alot of GTRs have and take full advantage of the rules here, I'm going to need traction, stability and the ability to stop:

Nothing really other than the usual hicas lock bar and adjustable camber arms, I've always run stock rear ends and done OK but I'm not sure what this car might need as we push it, I suppose we'll just have to start with what we have and see how it goes.

I love this build so far, and I have a huge amount of respect for you Mr Rob and the guys at RIPS! But I feel a bit sad to see what seemed like a clean, well taken care of, stock R32 GT-R turned into an FRP bodied fully stripped drag monster!
