This is absolutely crazy.. I have been going through the build thread the wrong way round, don't know where to look at first..

Once the RX is finished... I think I know where my savings will be going

Mark,

If you turn up to work in the morning and your catch tank is missing don't look under the bonnet of my celica unless you want it back!!

Did a very good job of that tank for your first attempt but now i need some parts making for my drag car i.e cookie jar, drinks holder and travelling blanket storage!!!

G.

Where does it plumb into though? i notice you had a vac regulator on the opposite cam cover.

Wont it struggle to pull vacuum at all with the catch tank?

Not at all it works fine the hole in the rocker cover on the engine is now much smaller than the dash 12-fitting on the top of it so still will allow vacume

Ah sweet, when I saw the left hand breather fiting in the rocker cover blocked off I presumed you had an open hose from the right hand rocker cover going to the catch tank.

So its just a dummy to keep the rule makers happy because if it was connected the engine would try to draw air in through the filter, hence asking about it. cheers.

Santa droped off a new race seat for my race car today. Actually, it was parcelforce, so guess I will be busy fitting it over Christmas and more parts for the car. Here are a few pics

Bloody hell lucky it's u and not me getting in that seat, even if I managed to get in it I reckon I'd need six men a length of rope and a good horse to get me out
