I suffered like most with cracking discs after just 5k and the original pads laminated just as quick and at the time others had bought yellow stuff pads so i went with these as well. I personally have been surprised as i went to Millbrook on them and yes Colin said they are good for lighter cars however on that day mine worked very well with no fade so i thought i will change them once they had worn. 1 track day and 8k down the line and they still have plenty of life in them so i would say it must depend on the individual driving styles. On another note i need new discs and as my service is overdue i am thinking of taking a drive to Litchfields to get new ones, does anybody use the Alcon discs as i see they supply them or are the AP ones better?
