Who has ordered new GTR?

I can see why you like the Gun Metal. Having recently gone back to that colour on my car, I have to say it is lovely, particularly with the Premium grey wheels.

But as for the blue being popular, so what? You're not only going to events where there are going to lots of 2011 GT-Rs after all!

The black looked really nice at the Nurburgring and I would guess that the paint quality has been improved, plus metallic should hide the swirls a lot better. But black is just too big a pain to keep clean, period.

Fair comments David, I should be taking delivery on the 1st of March all things being equal, I think you should be around the same time so we could well end up taking delivery at the same time

Do you plan in replacing the exhaust with your current system?

I am going to order a white 2011 GTR...had Titanium 2009 before which I took as a cancelled order rather than choosing car...really like the white on the GTR...think it shows the shape off well.

Yeah if you've ordered from Middlehurst, I would imagine there are going to be a few familiar faces there on the 1st March (although not sure I can wait that long personally!).

As for the Akrapovic, absolutely, if it fits. Guess I will be the guinea pig on that one. If it doesn't, then I should have no problem selling it and wait for a 2011 system.

Finally sorted out the registration for the new car!

BO11AAX 399 Squid from the DVLA!

So from MArch 2011 I will be driving arround with Blue BO11AAX!

I think that is a good idea, the extra power and handling temped me in the end ... all warranty friendly, wonder if the Cobb will work OK on this model?

I know this has been covered later by David but, the new black is superb Arcam. It really suits the car and is metallic or pearlescent, seemed to have a good clear-coat when I saw it at the ring. I know what you mean about the blue and if I wasn't already replacing a black one I would definitely go for this new black, gorgeous.

yes, will need someone who has an AccessPORT and new 2011 GT-R to plug AccessPORT in, it won't reconise the ecu but will give option to save the oem 2011 GTR rom file, plug into pc, open apmanager download it then email it to us for Joe to crack, should take a week

Currently have a black and have ordered metallic black. Saw it in the flesh and the quality of the metallic is so much better than the original flat black. Also I hope to be picking mine up from Middlehurst's on the 1st March so may meet up with some of you.
I am going to wait until February to advertise my GTR as I believe (and hope) that the weather will have improved and the used performance car market will have picked up with the prices firmer.
