- YONMERI - 1974 Skyline.

Not been on the forum for quite some time, although i have had several skylines, figured they wouldn't be anything you boys would have any interest in. Until now!

So between myself and my good friend Duncan, we have taken it upon ourselves to rescue / butcher this...

1974 C110 "YONMERI" Skyline - with 18,000 KILOMETERS on the clock!

It was originally imported by Mashamoto in Newcastle, sporting fender flares, a couple of interesting "yankee" style modifications and some Hayashi Street Fins (which are for sale if anyones looking for some 14x7 ET?)

The intention was to RB26 it and throw in a few touches to help it stop / get around corners...

However, our plan is a little more involved. Since the original parts are long gone (otherwise a concourse restoration would have been undertaken) we decided that the only way to do it real justice would be to go way beyond the mark.

The target is around 400bhp from an SR20DET engine, sub 1100kg wet with a complete (immaculate, to the point of still having to orignial plastic wrapping on the door handles) interior and serious amounts of grip. All shall become clear as we go along.

So far, i've not really had the chance to do anything with it, other than stick wheels under the arches for a bit of a giggle and spend a hellish ammount of time on the phone / internet searching for and buying parts.

It seems my "messing" about it causing quite the stir on driftworks

Mostly because i put wheels bigger than 15" under the arch... got to fit huge brakes somewhere!

So i hope you enjoy the updates as i am able to make them!
