Which camera lens for motorsport
I know there are one or two photographers on here so hoping you can help.
I have a: DSLR-A380 (DSLRA380) : Overview : Cameras & camcorders : Sony It just has a standard lens and I would like to know what options there are for a budget lens suitable for motorsport? Has anyone got any suggestions?

Make sure it lets as much light in as possible, the lower the F number the better (and the more expensive lol)
You'll need a couple of lenses really as something with a long zoom range cost serious wedge for anything remotely fast Also image stablisation, make sure the lens has it, and lets you lock it so it doesnt affect horizontal movement (for when doing panning shots)

Wow going on the basis of the f rating I think I will need to re-adjust my budget! Thanks for the advice though. It's given me a good starting point.
