Jurgen why risk the engine you've waited so long for and paid so much for just to have the bragging rights of a "1200hp" car?
1000hp is already pretty darn amazing and if your block means it can run that reliably into the long term then you have something very special indeed.
Tuning houses may be able to afford to blow up blocks (although most appear to be doing it with customers' cars

), you and most of us certainly can't.
Think about what you will really use the car for and build it to that would be my advice.
What I'd like to know is if anyone has built a genuine 1000hp GT-R engine that can reliably produce (and sustain) that power on superunleaded pump fuel. No race gas, E85 or octane boosters. Now that, would be really impressive...
