Quite pleased with the results now, its starting to look pretty cool.

Can't start bolting it all back together until I can afford to buy some diff oil and the bolts come back from the zinc platers!
I did get a new diff gasket with happy birthday written on the front from RB Motorsport yesterday from my bezzy mate Fil, so im geting there with respect to that!
Cant wait to get it all back in the subframe.

You're absolutely crazy mister, you know that

Looks fantastic buddy

But if I were you, I'd never dare to take it on the road again

Cheers,

Leo

Was parked up next to that Newera White 32, and it is a stunning stunning car. Dave now has Mattys old 34 but that 32 is something very special indeed in the flesh.

Bob does any part of your car have a blemish!!?

Top work buddy

Not much of an update, but an update all the same.

The paint on my Cusco brake stopper hadn't seemed to have lasted that long since new so i decided to strip the bugger and get it powder coated.
Looks OK in the pic but there were some bit of rust showing around the seems where they hadn't painted it very well.

I also stripped back to bare metal my old Cusco rear camber adjuster upper arm as my mate Fil was having them for his S13 SIL80.

It's weird there seems to be no real consistency with Cusco gear, some stuff is primered under the paint and others are just paint straight on metal, and as you can see the metal under these looked as if it had been lying around for a while before being painted in the factory. (other stuff is spot on and fine though, like I say weird!).

So I got my wire wheel attachment out and stripped them back to bare metal.

Old on the left cleaned up right.

So then as it was such a nice day yesterday i decided to use our washing line to spray the arms.

And of course used metal primer and a few good coats of Plastikote metalic blue, (exact match for Cusco blue).

This next one is for Willrobdon as he asked for a comparison between the Cusco arms and the Ikeya Formula arms to see what the difference was?

And finally today a bit of car parts porn!

Gave the rear arms a few coats of Wheel Guard after fitting the brand new stickers Miguel and Matty from Newera managed to source for me from IF Japan. Cheers guys!

You can also see my stripped and repainted rear hicas track rods at the back of the table.

Mmmmmmmmmmm.....

And here you can see the stripped Cusco brake stopper parts ready for powder coating.

No worries buddy!
If you want i could get you stainless versions of all of them?
Shouldn't cost much? Or you could just have my old ones when I replace mine with stainless?

bob
p.s.
did yours come with the red alloy bit that pushes up against the BMC?
