I can do you a drawing if you like of the 3rd bit?
Luckily it's the easiest to fabricate of the 3 although it's also where most of the force from the BMC is taken too so you do kind of need it!

Having looked at it again it might work better than not using a BMC stopper at all, you basically have 3 points of contact on the driver strut tower, so you will just have 2 instead of 3 points of contact, not ideal but it would still stop some flex in the bulkhead when the brake is applied.

Vinay (R32R32),

I've got a Cusco Brake stopper that I haven't fitted yet.

If you want to swing by, you can take a look at the bits missing from yours and get copies made?

Cheers,

Mark......and yes the engine still isn't ready.......

Quick update. I've been waiting on all of my nuts, bolts and brackets to come back from the platers after being zinc plated, I know, I know I'm a tart but I just can't resist shiny stuff!

I had pretty much every nut and bolt off the rear end of the car done. Took me a while to work out which one was which and bag them all up into ziplock bags for when I need them.

I couldn't resist loosely putting the rear brembo's together with their new shiny bolts and brackets. (I had some stuff done gold and others done silver depending on their original colour).
Biot Brembo brake brackets and nuts and bolts.

Loosley fitted.

I also got my HKS Kansai underbody braces done as well as the mounting plates for the rear subframe. These will be powder coated on top, the zinc plating is extra protection below the powder coating.
Under bars.

Subframe plates.

I really do need to get a life/job!
Happy days!!!
I also got my cam covers back from
The powder coaters today too, but that's for another day!

Bob

Cheers guys, have to say was please when I got the zinc plated stuff back, it's great what goes away looking tired and corroded comes back looking shiny and brand new!
They only lost one thing from what I can tell, a clip that holds the handbrake cable to the subframe, but i was intending to replace those with stainless P clips so no big deal! (course it could have been a magpie, they were in the gardnen unatended for a few hours whiles i was doing other stuff!)

OK back to the cam covers.

Started by stripping the cam covers, (they were already polished but i fancied somthing a bit different!)
Here you can see the mines, (RSP cam baffles in place).

I removed the rubber gaskets as they were almost brand new so could re use them with no probs.

The baffles had been fitted with Nissan red sealant so I had to be careful getting them out so as to not bend them,

Baffles out in one piece, I used a mini socket to get a bit of leverage behind the tiny little screws that hold them in place.

I wanted to fit A/N fittings from breather to catch tank, (still to decide which catch tank to use ) so the next job was to cut off the breathers. I couldnt believe how think the steel is on these, so over engineered! (I've since learnt that they might be threaded in there, the guy who re tepped them after they were drilled out said he thought there was already a thread in there but cant confirm, i think he likes his cider!
If i was to do it again i'd try heating the alloy cam cover and try and unwind the steel breathers out, but when i originally tried they just wouldn't shift so cut the buggers off.

You can see here i checked the 22mm was going to be the right size for the job, (i'll be using Alloy A/N fitting when the jobs done proper like).

I then got a big bearded mulitiple piercing biker guy, who lives locally to me, (im such a redneck!) who had a milling machine to drill out the breathers to 20.5mm in order to tap them out to 22mm. (Most pillar drills won't take such a big drill bit).
