Looks like your car will be back on the road again soon

(wish I could say the same about mine )

Glad you finally got the CF tube as I stated thinking the post has lost it

Cheers,

Leo

I just realised how many pages this part 2 of my build thread has gone into!!! I can't go into part 3 before it's back on the road in a week or two, I'll save part 3 for this winter!
(this is never going to end..........)
Anyway, back to the updates, I took some parts to a local company who do laser cutting. I get the stainless steel plate from a local engineering company near me. I wanted to replace the heat shield on the gearbox X member bushes before I fitted my new poly bushes. Now Nissan only supply one for the side that is next to the exhaust, but being a big fan of symmetry I decided to get some more made up out of 1mm SS plate and am rather pleased with the results!

Here's the new X member poly bushes, the old heat shield and the stainless ones I had made.

I love stainless parts for their fit and forget no maintenance properties.
And here is the drivers side one fitted with the new poly bushes.

I also filled the transfer case the other day too. I took out the top fill plug so I could check the level when filling.

And then as my gearstick is out still I filled up through there, took exactly 1.8 litres.

Of this stuff.

And then onto the gearbox, used my pump on this job, god that Redline heavy shockproof is nasty nasty stuff!!!

I emptied each US quart into a suitable container first to suck up with the pump. It took almost 5 quarts in total.

So that's transfer case, gearbox and front and rear diffs filled!
God this thread is so rock n roll!!!

Bob

Also fitted my Greddy rad, rad hoses, top and bottom, I fitted an adapter for my STACK water temp sensor into the bottom hose.

A bit dark but hopefully you'll get the idea.

Radiator cap is on the wrong way round Bob.

Do you know the piston size for stock R33GTR Brembo's by any chance?

Sorry don't know the standard piston size bud, but I bet if you asked jaz nicely he'd measure them for you!

STACK dash isn't the easiest to set up Scott mate, but I'm hoping this time round once it's done I can just drive it and enjoy the simplicity of it!
Yeah the whole gearbox is like new, was a lucky find!

From memory 44mm and 47mm. If I remember I'll check my notes tomorrow.
