Great tip Marky!!!
Actually we did notice that, especially on a pickup, hense the spare wheels right at the back to help balance out the weight of the bulbous cab!

Just keep posting up your projects chap, ill throw out any hints that come to mind. Your basically doing what I used to do, Did loads of VW and classic british/jap cars. once you get a routine it becomes quite fun.

I learned the lesson about beetles after dropping the front beam off one, it very very slowly started to rock backwards and I was able to catch it, but since that time I have always thrown a strap over.

I look at them a lot.... I really do, but I just dont enjoy the job as much as I used to and im not sure I could really get back into it with any enthusiasm.

The last one I had was a beetle cabriolet, sporting a 1.8 with dual carbs (and the other such stuff that entails) and I had put aside a turbo and some other bits ready to go on, but I got rid of it all years ago, just got the R33 and an old Porka now, and I dont do much with the porka either.

Ok so it's been way, way too long, don't worry it's me not you!!!

So after spending a couple of months working on getting an STI turbo engine into a VW T25 pickup. It's been dead fun and boy does it shift now!
Pretty much everything has had to be custom made! Turned out pretty good!

So back tomy own car..... Loads to do before we sail across the channel to francais!
So I made a start!
First up was the relocation of my washer bottle.
It needed to be shifted rear wise, it just doesn't need to be up front! I did buy an N1 bottle but to honest I weighed it up and the temptation to clean up my bay way too overwhelming!

Sooooo much cleaner!
And here's how I relocated it to the rear! Needs tidying up a bit but looks pretty good.
Really nice n simple kit, no extra drilling, just needed to run a lengthened washer hose and electrical cable/connections!
