Ive recently visited a dealer friend to see what my 2009 R35 is worth and we couldnt find the car in either of the guides !!! which surprised me somewhat

How do owners price their cars for Sale other than visiting the Nissan Stealers ? is it a case of looking at the current ADs ????

Evaluator .... sorry ?? is that an electronic version and or different to the hard copy books ??

just look on autotrader, should give you an idea.

Agreed, you cant trust parkers/ Glass etc. Sometimes they are miles out on price.

I was offered a ferria something or other as a P.X against my RS6. I looked up the price on parkers and got back to him with what 'parkers' valued his car at. He was not very happy with my offer and told me to look on piston heads. He was correct. My offer of around £25k (parkers price) was well off, i couldn't find another ferria simular for less than £60k or simular!

Parkers isn't worth the paper its printed on, Glass or Cap will be what the trade use, usually Cap to Buy , Glasses to sell

absolutely every trade guy I have dealt with uses Glass's, and when I've sold cars I've been told by friends your cars worth this and its worth that, however if you want to sell your car within a week you won't be far off the glass's guide not enough to piss around selling privately anyway.

Thanks for the replies ...but like I said The Trade Glasses Guide (Not Parkers or other) and Trade Cap did not have the GTR R35 mentioned in them when I looked with a Trader friend, I guess I will have to look again before I take the Auto Trader asking prices into consderation.

I have asked an HPC if they wanted to buy it and they are not interested, im guessing they must have enough stock ??

+1, my 6yr old son is better informed to price used cars than Parkers. God only knows how it still exists (Parkers, not my 6yr old son)

Stick the details on here i'm sure people will chime in with what you are likely to get, I recently sold mine for close to £44k but it needed the tyres doing - Jan 2010 Premium with 12k miles on the clock but that one was a minter
