good service from Bromley (again)

So it was my 2 year service- car went in with a rear rattle and slightly odd hiss from power steering.

Then the call came through-Rear rattle was only the rear brakes- but There is a problem- leak from powersteering hose/cable and part might take 3 weeks to come from japan.

Instantly the internet rumours seemed to be coming true-
parts are a problem and a 3 week wait- what a joke- Never had that with porsche- Must admit was feeling a bit peeved for a few days and was thinking there was no way Im spending another 30k on a my11 if they cannot store parts.

Anyway within a week they got the part fixed the car and I had it back-
Had a 370 loan and the dealer kept me informed all the way through
On pickup was impressed with the explanation of its optimisation, new road set up
Price £850 as quoted- yes its more than lichfield but I guess they cannot fix a warranty problem and its miles away from Kent.
Another thumbs up for Sonic who seems to be one of the best techs around

I think a week to replace a hose is probably unheard of when talking about other high performance cars, but at least it is less than the 3 weeks they managed your expectations with - one week would seem very good indeed in comparison - and it seems you thought so as well!

In all seriousness, it is good to know that *someone* is happy with the service from an HPC

Sonic is indeed an excellent technician. I have used Ancaster for all warranty and service issues up to the 18 month service. At £200 more than Middlehurst and £320 more than Litchfield I cannot justify this one at Ancaster unfortunately!
