Shim Clearance

So I have HKS 272 8.4 lift cams. Currently my clearance for the shims is .13 inches and was told its too thick that my clearance needs to be .18

Any idea about this?

Lol I saw that too but gathered what he was trying to say......OP.....also note the clearance is quite often tighter on the exhaust than the inlet.
