Brake Caliper pistons

Hi

Does anyone know where I can get new front brake caliper pistons for my mk1 1996 Stagea ?
After dismantling the callipers yesterday I discovered that 2 of them are rusted beyond repair.
If anyone has any good calipers for sale, I'll buy them !

Any advice for which other callipers or brake setups would fit would be most appreciated.

Cheers
Phil

I replaced my standards with R32 GTR's which are the same as R33 GTST. Shims may be required if you go from M14 bolts to M12's. Brembo's will also fit if you can find them. Need to think about rim dia and offset.

I can have a look at my old OEM calipers if you need bits or the whole lot.

Hi
If the calipers are in good condition I would take them, or if there are 2 good pistons lurking inside, that would be great also.
Please let me know what you would like for them.
Cheers
Phil

Will have to get back to you once I've diagnosed my erratic idle.

No probs
Just give me a shout when you have some time.
Good luck with the idle problem - can't think of any suggestions myself other than maybe the lambda sensor, or MAF.
Cheers

from i've read and heard the gtr calipers take bigger discs and are bigger calipers than the gtsts calipers so you'll then have to watch your clearance on your alloys.

bigger alloys and spacers may be in need and if your changing over calipers to gtr ones you'll need to redo the brake line too

this is just what i've picked up on along the way correct me if i'm wrong.

Thanks for all the replies guys.
I've actually managed to buy a pair of fully refurbed 32GTR calipers with new EBC discs and pads from Conceptua.
That'll keep me busy on Saturday and hopefully I'll be stopping much more quickly from now on !
Cheers
Phil
