not shure if rollin the lip is enouhg for that offset,

front should be fine, just remoover the caliper when you doing it as it wont let you got further , also do it with bumper atached too :P, also as a glenn mentions, heat gun, and taking your time hahah.

but rear, i had mine, 18x10.5 et 18, and had to have big camber for them to fit. i had my arches rolled, but had to drill the spot welds of the arch, cut the inner arch , moove it out of the way, then proper roll the arch from the inside, easy gain 4-5cms like this.

Cheers Simon,
I was hoping to narrow the track with the rear adjustable upper and lower arms, but if it isn't enough, I will have to get the panel beater to sort it.

Looking at Justin's car,
R32 GT-R build update - carbon shaft, new wheels + more!

he mentions just rolling the guards to fit the same wheels (18 offset, so 3mm less than what I have) but after trying this size wheels on in the car in the past, I imagine I will have to talk to the panel beater.

I think you are going to be right, I will have a go and see how far I can wind the rear arms in to help, and roll the guards as far as I can....But ultimately it will probably end up at the panel shop

I have 18 x 10 et15 rota's and they dont hit the rear arches. Were on the car when i bought it. It runs 255/35 R18 which are only lightly streched and within recommendations. They clear completely at the back although its very close nor do i run the car too low at all as the geometry goes bad anyway.

If anything they seem to rub ever so slightly at the front on inner fender on full lock.

I was being sarcastic Glenn.....

I have decided if the exhaust is not made by the end of next week, I'm picking the car up and dropping it around to NZEFI and their fabricator can do it.....getting f***ed off waiting for this f***ing thing to be finished!

Just dont go pulling it apart again anytime soon once its going. Concentrate on tires, brakes and your driving. This motor will be good for years if the oiling is sufficient for the amount of grip you have.

Is it a lil bigger than a T04Z on compressor and turbine? Should make plenty of HP and torque with ya 3 litre

I hear ya Andy.....this whole exercise should. Have only taken 6mths at worse case, but delays on parts, earthquakes, and outwork have been a

The turbo should be close to a T04Z with a 90 ish rear housing, it prob shouldn't be far off a set of 2530's down low, with a bit more up high.

I have bought one of these to roll the guards, and hopefully stretch them enough to fit.....

.....A set of these! 18x10.5 15et .....Could be a busy Easter Weekend!
I still intend to buy some Enkei RPF1's in the same size when they are available in NZ again....But these Varrastoen cheepies will do for now, and will prob end up as track day bashers.
