Yeah it's a tight fit hence the reason the manifold took a while to get right.
Cheers....I hope it goes as good as it looks.

Just been told by Customs that the wide front guards have arrive in ChCh, And I've just had a new set of 295 x 30 x18" tyres fitted to the 10.5" wide wheels.....Should look phat!

....Hope they fit under the guards!

Well, I went and picked up the Yanack Wide Guards from Customs today, Sent from Nengun (Cheers guys!) and mocked one up on the car.....Yay they cover the 295x30x18 tyres now on the car.
They will need a little fetaling (what fibreglass doesn't?!?) to get them to fit right, But that is sooo not my department, Best left for my car customiser dude!

Here is how much the wheels stick out with the factory guards....

And the same shot on the other side with the new guard (Panel is a bit twisted due to my quick mock up)

So, I will be off to the Car Customiser in a couple of weeks when he has cleared the car he is working on, and he will widen the rear guards to match the fronts, and fetal the front to fit properly.

Is this an option Link is going to make available?
Just spoke to Link regarding this, It is probably not going to be an option at this stage....It's actually a Vipec top board and effectively turns the Link into a Vipec (uses their software and tuning program)

Cheers Jaz, yeah the rear over fenders are 50mm GTS ones, that's all I could find. They were cheap.....but I would have to wait 3 mths for a set of Yanack rear fenders, and I've got itchy feet!
My car customiser guy is very good and has won heaps of car show awards, so he should be able to get them looking alright.
Push comes to shove and he doesn't like the rear over fenders, I will just get him to cut and tuck the steel ones, there is no rust in them so they can be worked with.

shouldnt be too hard to make them nice if they fit flush already. id cut off the top section where youve taped it though. not really needed. plus youd have less rippley fibreglass on there lol. id cut it about 1cm below the swage line and then youve got a nice area to lose the blend in.
