What fuel filter do you use?
I recently bought new fuel filters for my cars (along with lots of other service stuff). When I tried to fit it I realised the fuel flow direction was reversed to the filter I had removed from the car. I thought I had been sent the wrong part and so ordered parts from my local motor factors. Went to collect them the next day only to discover the same problem! I have looked in the manual and it seems to be wrong!
  Does anyone have the right part number?

I use original Nissan fuel filter on mine.

In your first picture OP, the Filter on the right is the correct one...

Yes- fuel filters are usually car specific...
On some cars like the GTR the fitting is very specific! The Pulsar is less so, but I would be a little concerned as these cars run quite high fuel pressure...
