I would put them back in the right order and the right direction if you have numbered them.
At the very least I would put them back the same direction. IIRC there may be a little cupping of the plates( from the release bearing pushing on them ) so this should give you a little help with direction.
Use the input shaft for the front diff to line up the splines in the plates and centre as it's a real pain to get the box on if this is not done right.
