R33 GTR (1996) T78 Project

Nissan R33 GTR Silver, 1996

We have had this car over 2 years, and after collecting virtually every piece to do a single T78 33D Turbo Conversion, as we have too much on the go - it will probably be next year before we even get round to starting this, we have decided to sell.

Car itself is a 1996 V Spec (we think) virtually completely standard as a rolling shell. We have rebuilt an RB26 with :

new forged pistons
HKS cams
N1 Water and oil Pumps
Cosworth Head Gasket
ARP Stud Kits for Head and Crank
Greddy inlet and exhaust manifolds
Greddy fuel rail with 720cc injectors
Greddy T78-33D Turbo
Greddy Remote Oil Filter
Apexi Power FC with Hand Commander
Additional - Mines Nerve Stage 3 ECU
33 Row Oil Cooler
Trust Heat Sheild
Aeromotive Pump and Regulator
Blitz duel SBC
Nismo 11000 rpm white dials
HKS Triple Plate Clutch

...... in fact everything that is skyline will be included

Also included is 10" x 19" all round x 275 x 30 x zr19 five spoke wheels - will confirm what these are but think they are Veilside Andrew.

Must stress car is a rolling shell and although we are in Glasgow, we can help with transportation anywhere UK mainland.

Car and engine are not together. If anyone requires further pictures or wants to inspect the car as it is, please get in touch with myself or 2 Black Lines via PM on here.

Price - £7,500 ono. AT present we are NOT breaking any of this car as it is a near complete 600 plus bhp project that is priced sensibly, and we would like to see the whole car go as one.

Please note - wheels and no. plate in pics are not the ones currently on the car - fresh pics to follow

A more recent pic.

Anyone know the name of the wheels - I can't remember the name!!!!

We will also take resonable offers for the complete package.

take a photo from behind the car of the underside, someone here will be able to confirm if its a v-spec as there will be a diff with fin's on it, only avaliable on the v-spec.

Send a message via MSN to R32 Combat
The tacho has the A-LSD light, suggesting it is a V-Spec.

You'll get everything we have got for this car, and yes the engine is built - there are only a few gaskets not there that I can think of that are missing from the whole build.

Put car and engine together, clean up the brakes or replace the discs as the car has been sitting around for a wee while, mot, and have the map altered to fine tune it. After this, this will be a mega car.

We'll be putting the engine in this Saturday, so if your thinking about thi9s car in anyway please get in touch, as the build up progresses the price will go up.
Yes, up not down, as there will be ongoing costs as it progresses, gaskets bits n bobs/ mapping etc

Let us know.

Thread bumpage. ( If you look at the time of the initial ad, you'll see were not progressing very fast here).

Car now for sale - the engine is installed and has been turned over for oil pressure and ran very briefly.

We've had no time to work on the car due to other commitments - so car is ready very nearly to rock and roll. Not yet mapped hence the reason why we didn't run it that long.

It would benefit from a replacement front bumper and bonnet due to storm damage over the winter. Car needs very little to finish.

Price £6750 - or as near to £6750 as makes no difference!

Is there anyone near you that could map it, so it could be driven home? Cheers

Tbh, We can deliver the car anywhere UK mainland, and I would prefer at this stage whoever bought it used there own mapper - I'd be using Gary at APT to do this one as he did a mega job on my previous Skyline, and does the Mapping for Mosler.

The other reasons are we just don't have the time to complete this project this year, - we run a Darrian GTR in TA - and really have to put everything aside for that.

Hiya, can you let me know what still needs doing to get this on the road please? Is it just a remap, MOT and away it goes? Also, could you show a photo of the bumper/bonnet showing the "damage".
I am looking to upgrade from my R32 GTST, so want to find a 33 that needs some work, then sell mine.
Any info would be most welcome.
cheers, Nick
