Differences between S1 and S2 Ignition coils - GT-R Register - Official Nissan Skyline and GTR Owners Club forum

Hey, can anybody make a picture of both compared to each other? Whats the differences?
If i find a harness and S2 coils can they run safely on my R32 RB (GTR in my case) or they are running without the igniter or something!?

If this was posted before, im sorry i did search but couldn't find anything!

Spec 2 coil packs have a built in ignition amplifier, spec 1 coil packs have an external amplifier which sits at the back of the engine closest to the bulk head.
