Thinking of having a bash at this myself. I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to this sort of thing though, so may I ask a few questions to those who have already done it? Like:

How much do you need to worry about clearance for refitting the trim - do you need to cut around trim fixings much and presumably the Dynamat is a cm or so thick so clearance potentially an issue?

I assume it's self adhesive, but does it stick like superglue or can you tweak it a bit if you make a mess of it?

Is it easy to cut?

Any other helpful hints?

On price, £18.95 a roll is steep compared with the amazon link earlier in this thread - 36 sqft is the same as 9 rolls and 9x18.95 is £170 cf £139 for the bulk pack, so the Amazon link looks like a decent deal. Having said that, if you need more than 9 rolls but less than 18, it might make sense to buy one bulk pack and a few singles.

Dynamat is only a few mm thick so you shouldn't have any problems with clearance and its SUPER sticky so careful when applying as it will stick to anything. Easyist way to do it is with a "Wife Borrowed" hairdryer to warm it up which makes it mould much easier to the shape of the panel etc.

You don't need to be an*l about how much of the panel you do....doesn't matter if you miss the odd nook and cranny as long as the major surface area is done

Yes the Amazon deal is very good.

I only did it this way as initially i only bought 5 rolls to just do the rear seat area, but after i was finished i thought it would be wrong to have done so much and then miss out the sides, so ended up having to buy another 3 rolls.

Its easy to say you only need 1 box but it all depends on how much area you want to cover.

If you do the FULL boot area and FULL rear seat area inc. tunnel then 1 box will not be enough.
