Thinking about selling mine (regretfully) - advice on price pls

Hi

sadly prospective house purchase means my GTR will probably have to go, so just wanted some advice on a realistic price for mine.

It's a Jan 2010 Black edition in ultimate silver
Mileage £7k ish

Extras:
front and reverse cameras
GTC rear light kit
Full Miltek exhaust
Litchfields stage 2 remap with upgraded air filters
ventureshield on bonnet, front and rear wings

Never tracked - full HPC service history.

I'll be gutted to see it go but needs must.

Thanks for your help.

As a private sale I'd expect that to make about 42k, on a 59 plate with low miles.
No doubt a dealer would add a fair margin on that.

Its a very tough time for cars at the moment, I just sold a few in my lifestyle change and can i sell the r32 no chance so its getting broken up.

i imagine 30k+ cars most people would want finance etc but i is it as readily available as it used to be

Many of the people in the position of buying an R35 probably have high incomes and/or run a business. Getting finance in these situations is not that difficult really provided you pass the criteria and are not running at a loss.

The problem is more that finance companies can get a bit twitchy when buying privately. They much prefer dealers, which can mean you need a personal loan or have to refinance the vehicle once you've splashed the cash.

I guess that's why dealers are still selling R35s for up to £3k more even though you can get a great deal privately. I bought mine privately because it's under warranty, so I didn't need the peace of mind a dealer gives for his few thousand pound mark up.

As you've posted that...

To be fair, if you were in a rush I'd be surprised if it couldn't make about £40k sold to a dealer.

There's no rush at all so might even hang on until the new year. I'm going to be sad to see it go so certainly won't just hit any bid.

Maybe I should just forget the whole house move thing!

A dealer offered 40k for mine in part ex for a 2011.
59 plate black edition, navigation, 11k miles.
She ain't for sale, will not be for sale, and nobody will want it when I've finished with it! Priceless!
