Brake pads for after market calipers

I was browsing at different brake setups ie AP racing and D2 calipers etc.. but the only thing that puts me off is how do you go about getting hold of spare pads and discs? especially on the D2. Are they standard sized?

My ap's use ferodo or pagid pads, Most pads spread accross many different car makes.

I have some brand new ones in a box will have a look and see if it says what other cars they fit.

The D2s are a copy of the AP kit. You can get good replacement pads easily enough. I have the D2 8 Pot kit on my own car and I use DS2500 pads. They work pretty well.

D2 brake kit pad options ?

Cheers for that. How do you find them? I'm thinking of the 356mm with 8 pots.

And when you say the d2 pads are not great how do they compare with the standard setup with decent pads?
