thoughts on hood dump wastegate pipes

pros and cons ?
water/condensation get into the tube and rust out the wastegate ?

what are the problems of dumping the wastegate pipe out of the hood ?

The gates are usually stainless but I think you'll find its more of a show thing, its not really practicle at all.
