Biot did/do R34 N1 sized 2piece rears. Most of the japanese 2 piece rear discs use alloy hand brake drum in the bell. Some use a steel top hat insert but I guess as long as you don't try and stop from 100 mph with the handbrake on the Timmelsjoch you should be OK with alloy.
