R34 GTR shocks on a R34 GTT....possible?? Please advise....

Hey there, just a quick question? Would r34gtr coilovers fit an r34gtt body?

Yep, it will fit, but not "correctly"

The GTR have a much shorter front damper, so you are going to end up with a car that will be slightly slammed.

Also, R33/R34 GTR normally have a slightly heavier springs rate all around, as it is a heavier car than the GTS.

Gotchya...but Will it effect the performance of the car? Ie if the car is slightly slammed at the front? This car that I'm referring to aslo has an rb26 engine in it to...

To be honest, all depends on the specification and how the coilovers are designed.
Most of the weight difference is from the drivetrain (gearbox, transferbox, etc)

Personally, I would fit what are designed to work on the car.
Especially when you can easily get something off the shelf that will work.

I agree. I have a "GTT-R" and although it's basically a RWD GTR the chassis is still setup for a GTT. I would only buy GTT suspension bits if I were you OP.
