after driving my car on the petrol light symbol for 15 mile (not through choice) mind you at 4000rpm was wonderin how many miles is possible on the light? even how many liters left wen the light goes on tryed doing a search with no avail?

I got 45 miles in my 33 gtr one day before refueling, Irish motorways tend not to have petrol stations on the road like in the uk, you have to drive about 10 miles off the motorway into a town to get petrol, it's ridiculous

yea i know the feeling had to stop at 3 garages until finaley the 3rd had super unleaded. its just the niddle was on the tiles wen the light comes on looks like u have fa any 1 know how many liters r in reserve?

I actually drove my 33 for a year thinking the bulb was gone in the reserve light, it doesn't come on till the needle is nearly under the empty mark, my Audi turns it on when there's nearly a quarter of a tank left, and you get 30 miles after the trip computer says you've 0 miles left

And when that happens you always crawl in the inside lane waiting for it to come to a halt, and be embarrassed

I in fact did ran out on a busy dual carriageway, a black taxi driver was kind enough to stop and give me a push to clear traffic.

Makes you feel stupid, but the AA sorted me out after a good hour of waiting.

4 years of ownership and i never knew the 33 had a petrol light.

So does any 1 know how many liters r left wen light comes on? as if the gauge is anything to go buy none lol ?

I wouldn't know the exact amount, but I assume it's about a litre reserve on a 33 since it's a huge Maxima.

32's however don't even have a petrol tank reserve, as it's a race car.

hence when i first got my 32 and had it upped to just over 500 bhp a some years ago a couple of occasions the red light had came on and panic sets in to find a shell garage quick lol

Never run mine that low.
As soon as I see mine at the half way point I start looking for a petrol station as I know she likes a drink!

That was just when it was early ownership for me when your just finding out how firsty it gets on fuel then after that I kept filling the tank right up when fuel prices was ok then .

You'd be supprised by the 32s reserve tank. Mines just a stage 1 but the other year on christmas day, my light came on when heading from Norwich back to London. And due to the lack of open petrol stations on the A11, I travelled about 40 miles with the light on before I found somewhere to fill up.
Obviously I was driving as gentle as possible.

I have never seen the light on mine, but seen the needle go past the bottom of the red and panic set in very quick!!!
