respraying 32 gtr midnight purple

Just looking for a few opinions on respraying my 32 gtr in midnight purple. Car currently needs a bit of body work and contamplating changing the colour totally. Just a few questions i have,
1. which of the midnight purples would you recommend 1,2 or 3
2.is there a certain way it is applied or certain base coat
3. or would you just keep the colour i have already
heres a pic of the car as it stands

I think these wheels would look savage under midnight purple bodywork

I'd change the colour if it were my car.

My favourite is the colour of the R35 Spec V. It's not called Midnight Purple but it is if you know what I mean.

That is a savage colour but where would you get the code? I'm living in Ireland and finding it hard to get midnight purple. Nissan don't do it and any paint shops have a different name for lp2 midnight purple, listed as dark purple metallic and they can't mix mp2 and mp3 isn't even listed so no hope of the r35 purple!

Right, i've found a paint shop who can mix midnight purple 3 (LX0). i have been looking at images of mp2 and mp3 but when googling the colours, the same pics are coming up for both. As ive never seen either in person before, is mp3 like flip pearl with blue going through it depending on what way the light reflects? I wanna be sure which one i want before i get it mixed.
This is what im guessing is midnight purple 3

When i googled MP3, its seems to be showing this purple with blue pearl in it. I thought MP2 had green in it?

firstly why would you want to change the colour, the gold looks awesome. Leave it as it is.

I need to get some small rust areas sorted and the thought of changing the colour crossed my mind. Always loved the midnight purples especially the one pictured above and really think it would suit the 32

Turns out the crowd i contacted for the mp3 paint have a formula for it but dont have the additive that will give the colour shift so pointless really. Is there anybody on this forum that can supply it? i have both the formulas for the base and undercoats for mp3 paint for "Du Pont" paint mixers if this helps anybody?
Thanks in advance
