Fitting throttle sensor

Have to fit a new throttle sensor on r33 gtr, and was told by dave w that it has to be fitted the same way/angle as the one that has been removed. Which is the best way of doing this. I was thinking either making score marks around the edge of the 1 to be removed or either using tape to use as a outline around the top and bottom of it. I did a search and to no avail, if this a bit of a divy question sorry 1st problem I've had with the car in 3 years.

You could just fit it and hope for the best. Really, you need to measure the voltage and set it in the correct position.
