Those brakes are awesome, but honestly, they are just a drop in such a heavy car...my Alcon "steel" Superkit last year performed the same way...im not able to feel the difference, honestly.

Sorry Flynn - if that was aimed at me, only 1 excuse.. the gearbox broke...

No points or reasons for going fastest in practice... all you do is wear the engine and kill tyres and brakes...

Rich.

P.S. and that's actually not an excuse ... It's a reason and a pretty valid one..

Not sure what we are going to change yet until we know whats broken, but will have to beef it up as much as possible - will post as soon as I know what has broken, and what will be replaced / upgraded..

Thanks but chin firmly up, I knew it was going to be a little hard to begin with but hopefully the faults are over and it's all plain sailing from here on.

Engine is fine, suspension is nearly there, tyres are all sorted, mapping is excellent all I need now is the final drive..

Rich.

How about bringing your car to the Jap Show and putting it on the Club Stand? http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/164383-ja...6-17-june.html

We need more R35s on the stand.

See you there??

Are you sure you can't run them in UK TA? I thought it had been agreed they would be OK even though not within the MSA Rules.

No I'm not 100% sure as the rules seem to change - but on reflection the steels are a better overall brake - just wish they were not so heavy!!

Rich.
