The tyres have to be looked after - luck for us the track temps weren't too bad, but the car still weighs 1750kgs and the tyres do have to work very hard.

Yes we were, but Steve's car is a full stripped out, welded in rollcage race / track car, that might just be 'road legal'...

the GTR still has it's dash, radio / stereo carpets and over mats.. and will stay that way.

I could in a matter of hours convert the car to look like a showroom example, these Evo's would never be able to return to a standard car because of the bodywork cutting / modifications.

That's why we have different classes..

Unfortunately Racing is never cheap but it does feel good to win - after all that's what you enter for.
